Devon was craving dessert sweetness tonight so we ended up baking some super yummy walnut brownies. I think I’m gonna start a new category for recipes that I find especially delish.

Thank you New York Times Cookbook. Your newspaper generally sucks, but your recipe for brownies is spot on.
Ingredients:
- 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
- 5 TBSP Butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (if you’re a nut-nut like me, use a whole cup)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt

- Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 9×9 inch pan.
- Melt the chocolate and butter together.
- Beat the eggs with the sugar until fluffy and add to the chocolate mixture.
- Add the flour, blend and add the nuts, vanilla and salt. Stir until well mixed.
- Spread batter in prepared pan. If desired, garnish top with additional nuts.
- Bake for about 25 minutes.
- Cool in pan, and then cut into squares or bars.
