Last night I watched the movie Crank with Jason Statham(the guy from the Transporter). Great fricking movie! Even if the story was kinda weak…. weak as in Statham’s character is injected by some drug which will kill him unless he can keep his heart rate jacked up. So he ends up running around being an adrenaline junky, taking lots of stimulants, starting fights with gangs and the police, stealing stuff and generally just being a menace.
The cinematography was pretty awesome. Lots of bright color saturation and whatnot. I loved it.
What I loved even more was the ringtone that the main character had on his cell phone… A regular cell phone ring that got progressively slower and lower pitched. Like its battery was running out… I liked it so much that I made Devon find it and upload it to my phone as my new ringtone. And I’m someone who has never downloaded a ringtone before and generally considers most of them to be horribly annoying. But yeah this one is awesome!
