Viva la France!

Here’s my paraphrased version of my trip to the French Riviera, using a couple of my favorite photos…

Here’s my dad and I drinking our “verre de vin de rosè” (glasses of rosè wine) with lunch at a cafe in Juan le Pins. BTW, french salads rock!

My mom and dad in front of a huge 4 story yacht in the Juan le Pins harbor. I’ll take one of those, please and thank you.

How many paragliders do you count? Outside of the bastide one morning.

I’m stealing my dad’s image – My mom and I infront of a L’Occitane in Moustier St. Marie. They are more common than grocery stores. It seems like even every tiny town has one.

Our 3rd hotel – La bastide de Roulas de Magdeline in Gemenos.

That bastide has the shaggiest donkey that I’ve ever seen. Her name was carolin, and she totally used me for my daisys that I would pick for her to eat.

Eatting my breakfast of croissants and butter. Yum.

My dad pulled over on a terrifyingly tiny curvy mountain road in Bandol so i could take a picture of the amazing view.

A little old medival walled town built into a mountain named Tourrettes.

Emma. Woman. You are HOT. Love the picture of you “Looking tre, TRE chic”. Devon’s a lucky monkey.

:) You flatter me way too much. :) The “tre TRE chic” picture is one of my favorite pictures from the trip, i think. The light there is beautiful, and my French countryside outfit helped complete the look. Not bad for being taken with a point and click camera.

Personally, I think I’m the lucky monkey for snagging Devon. He’s a dreamboat. :) Now if only I can talk him into coming along with me on future trips.

ps. i miss your blog. :( i look forward to you getting it up and running again. :)

Ok. I just have to post one more pic that i really love… Its of the pool at le Bastide de Roulais de Magdeline, which was totaly surrounded by thousands of tiny white daisys. I think the photo definately captured how beautiful it looked.
