W.A.F.H.O.D

Inspired by Lil’ Liberal’s taking part in a blogging in November contest, and a dream that I had last night, I thought that I would make up a contest of my own….

I present to you:

Lets try this again.

Just remember, Haiku’s are 3 lines, with 5, 7 and 5 syllables in each line respectively.

  1. Emma Says:

    I’ll start it off…

    Armed with weapons great
The green lizard sits and waits
    Tokyo, Beware.

  2. Telgator1 Says:

    Three legged monster?
    Adorable spiny pet?
    How to choose?

    or

    Wild gator-like thing
    Fifi Queen, Godzilla King
    Wedding ring

  3. Emma Says:

hehe!! I especially like the 2nd one!

  4. christian Says:

    Lizard creeps out Kyle
Death from below is his fear
    It just wants a hug.

  5. Telgator1 Says:

Geez…some people can’t follow simple rules like 5-7-5… ;-) Sorry for my bogus earlier submissions…I will reinforce the rules for myself in my ode to Fifi.

    Five – sweet rolls consumed
    Seven – Japan cities wrecked
Five – times I held her.

  6. Lil Liberal Says:

I’m a non-conformist. I’d write a haiku, but it would have like fourteen syllables in the first line, none in the second, two in the third, and ten in the fourth.

    And then you’d kill me.

  7. Emma Says:

    Awesome haiku’s Christian and Telgator1!

LL, I’m not a HUGE stickler for rules, especially since the number of syllables per line can be disputed….. I guess a traditional japanese haiku is (5,7,5) but not everyone follows that rule…. Other possibilities.

  8. Devon Says:

    It’s too late to run,
    Godzila reincarnate,
    She will come for you!

  9. Dan Says:

    Write Fifi haiku…
    Whatever you say, Emma,
    I refuse to die!

  10. Emma Says:

hehe! I love it Dan!!! But its the Lemur, not me, that you need to be worried about…. :)
