Snowing?!? Again???

Its snowing in Seattle, for the 3rd time this year. What’s going on? Usually we only get 1 snow “storm” a year. It generally happens in January, we get 2 inches max, our power goes out for a day, and then the snow melts a day after that.

But it’s now the end of February and I’m looking out my window in seeing huge fluffy white flakes. The grass is white and it’s just beginning to stick on the pavement. Hopefully we get a decent amount and there will be kids sledding down our street later. And then I’ll bribe them to let me ride their sleds. :)

I think Seattle’s weather is rebelling since I did not come this winter and bring with me the aforementioned January flurry…I have been there 3 times and pretty much saw the entire winter snow in Seattle for ’04, ’05, and ’06…perhaps Seattle thinks that it can woo me into visiting by snowing…perhaps it thinks that I come for the snow? Who knows. All I know is that it is 50 degrees here right now even though it snowed on Monday and may snow later in the week.

Tell Seattle to take a chill (or warm? :/) pill because I am planning to try to visit in the spring rather than the winter for once! Tell Seattle that its foolish, snowy bribes are not working and to stop torturing the poor man who operates Seattle’s single city plow! :)
