Hotel: Madonna Inn

I came across this “unique” inn while looking at places to stay in May when Devon goes to a java (computer kind, not the coffee kind) conference in San Francisco, which I’ll be tagging along to. The Madonna Inn is located half way between San Francisco and Los Angeles, so it’s not a feasible location for us to stay, but when I saw pictures of their rooms, I knew I had to share this place with you guys.

The Madonna has 109 rooms and each one is decorated differently in conjunction with their names. Renting a room here will cost you $168-380, and some rooms even come with waterfall showers, fireplaces and balconies. Here are a few of my favorite rooms:

The caveman room (with rock shower – $246 per night)

Love Birds room ($196 per night)

Yahoo room (with waterfall shower and wagon bed – $223 per night)

What’s Left room (decorated with leftovers from other rooms – $168 per night)

I totally want to go here, but I imagine I’d have a hard time talking Devon it. Here’s their list of rooms. What’s your favorite?

I’m going to have to go with “Vouz”….the tail end of the trio of rooms including “Ren” and “Dez”….although it closely edges out the first room Emma listed, which I’ve affectionately renamed the “Flintstone Room”….

Haha! OH mah Gawd!!! How did I miss the fabulous circular bed in “Vous”?!?!? That one is pretty posh. :)

I wonder if Madonna Inn is a Starwood property? :)

if they have a pirate room, he’d be on board. He’d make you walk the gangplank :)

Haha. Prepare to be boarded. :)
