A: Not particularly…but I think it laid the groundwork for an excellent 2007.

A: The usual drunken neighborhood Yankee swap with really bad cheap non-Champagne “sparkling” “wine”….oh, yeah, and lots of the cheap, plentiful NH fireworks.
8. What will/did you wear for New Year’s Eve?
A: Blue jeans, green cotton collared shirt, brown penny loafers, gold, “diamond” studded fake Rolex.
9. What are your New Year’s resolutions?
A: From seeing the flip side on so many people’s resolutions this year, I resolve to not START smoking in 2007. I also resolve to exercise more regularly than I did in 2006.
10.What are you looking forward to in 2007?
A: Enjoying life, savoring family and friends, opening at least one bottle of Chateau Pibarnon rouge, and a new work challenge followed by much success and mad loot.

These cookies that my friend Ann always makes. They are kinda crunchy with nuts and rolled into a ball and then coated in powdered sugar. Greek wedding cookies, I think?

I can’t complain.
7. How will/did you ring in the New Year?
We were supposed to ring it in with a Champagne toast at a Speakeasy(A 1920′s themed private party with drinking, gambling, burlesque dancers and a 8 piece band, but with no liquor or gambling licenses!) but unfortunately parking on Capitol Hill in Seattle ended up being craptacular and we ended up ringing in the new year smooching in a kinda sketchy little park that was between our car and the party, but that had an amazing view of the Fireworks down at the space needle. Très romantique!
8. What will/did you wear for New Year’s Eve?
Keeping with the party theme I wore a black pencil skirt with a black silk top and my killer high heeled saddle shoes with a news boy hat.
9. What are your New Year’s resolutions?
Make more art and cards.
Get my art in some shows again.
Continue being “gym-core” and keeping Devon motivated.
Try to not freak out so much over little things.
Get out and do more social stuff.
Learn how to cook more yummy and healthy stuff… I’ve already got the yummy unhealthy stuff down.
Become motivated to do house cleaning stuff…. shudder.
10.What are you looking forward to in 2007?
Possibly getting close to moving back to New England. Trips that are in the works. Getting more svelt.
I think she just calls them Almond Balls – or at least I do and she seems to respond to that.
Or, I could just call them Ann’s Ball’s, and go around saying “MMmm. I can’t get enough of Ann’s balls!”.
