1. Should I do something fun for the 1st anniversary of my blog later this month?
A: Yes. I suggest either a contest, commemorative t-shirts or rewarding your web designer/system admin for setting up your website and making it all possible.
2. Multiple Choice: Guess what Fifi has recently been eating .
a. Rocks
b. dirt
c. my hair
d. all of the above.
I’m gonna go with b) dirt. She’s already eaten rocks, and although she thinks your hair looks tasty, I doubt that you’ve allowed her to eat that.
3. Do you consider yourself a hippy?
A: Alas, probably no more…while I still endorse some hippy concepts, I’ve moved way too far into the mainstream…
4. Ever hugged a tree?
A: No, unfortunately I missed that fieldtrip.
5. Do you believe in karma?
A: Yes, I believe that there is a law of cause and effect. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
6. Do you practice random acts of kindness?
A: Yes. See answer to #5 if you feel you need justification, but I think it’s just one of those things that makes life enjoyable.
7. After going to some open houses this weekend I’m a bit uncertain as to the requirements in listing a room as a bedroom. What do you think they are?
A: My guess, based partly on facts from real estate research and partly on gut feeling….
i. An entrance from a “common” room, not another bedroom
ii Must be heated. (this is true in New England…not sure how that applies if your house is in Hawaii for example…
iii. Must have a closet, no matter how small.
8. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A: Probably still New England….probably still doing some kinda high tech job, probably involving something customer facing…finding a way to spend more time with my family and friends.
9. In 10 years?
A: Supreme ruler of the planet?…
Wow, if all works out well, I’ll be President (or vice-president) of my business (or a family business)….something fun and lucrative, but with enough spare time to enjoy it.
10. What side of a heart do you draw first?
A: I honestly think it’s 50-50 for me…no, maybe something like 60-40, slightly more drawing the right side first….
Oh no, fifi’s not eating rocks again is she? The big jagged ones that nearly killed her?
1. Should I do something fun for the 1st anniversary of my blog later this month?
Oh yes! I recommend a cake of some kind. I’m sure your husband will help eat what the blog can’t.
2. Multiple Choice: Guess what Fifi has recently been eating .
a. Rocks
b. dirt
c. my hair
d. all of the above.
D! She’s just gearing up for having to digest Tokyo sky-scrapers.
3. Do you consider yourself a hippy?
God no. I bathe.
4. Ever hugged a tree?
That’s really between me and the tree, isn’t it?
5. Do you believe in karma?
Yes. Mostly because if you believe in it, it helps you be a nicer person, and regardless of any cosmic payoff, there’s an immediate payoff in that you’re a nicer person.
6. Do you practice random acts of kindness?
I try to, yes.
7. After going to some open houses this weekend I’m a bit uncertain as to the requirements in listing a room as a bedroom. What do you think they are?
You’d have to be able to put a normal bed it the room and still get around, you’d need a window, and a closet.
8. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Happily married:)
9. In 10 years?
Happily married, and probably more bald…
10. What side of a heart do you draw first?
The right side, every time.
