Girl Scout Cookie Season.

They are selling cookies at every grocery store in my area…. I bought 2 boxes this weekend, and we’re about half way through those. (Samosas – the coconut caramel ones and Tag-alongs – Peanut Butter Patties) Drool.. They are going immediately to my belly squish, but I can’t help it! They’re totally addictive…

Which kind is your favorite?
-Thin Mints
-Samoas/Caramel deLites
-Peanut Butter Patties/Tagalongs
-Peanut Butter Sandwich/Do-si-dos
-Shortbread/Trefoils
-Others?

Do-si-dos Rule! They’re the best…although I have to admit that your favorites (Samoas and Tagalongs) are tied for 2nd favorite!

They are all pretty good, but I always liked the Samoas (mmmm, coconut) and the Thin Mints the best. I haven’t seen any annoying little girls selling cookies near me. I used to be one of them…I totally went door to door in my neighborhood trying to force people to buy my cookies. hahaha

Yeah. I think the Samoas are my favorite as well… A butter cookie coated in caramel and rolled in coconut and then slathered in chocolate. How could a cookie like that taste bad? I made the mistake of looking at the nutritional information last night. I would probably be better off just eating butter sticks. Fortunately I can usually push that infortmation to the back of my mind so I’m able to enjoy the cookies.

    Mmmm…butter sticks. *drool* :-)

Thin mints. Gimme. Although your cookies sound good, too. :) I’ve never actually tried a girlscout cookie other than the thin mints.

Of course, I can just go with the “grasshopper” cookies that the Peebler boys put out. They taste the same, and I have the benefit of knowing I’m not contributing to a dastardly sexist and fundamentalist cult. >=]
