Last year Fifi’s dragon costume came in Honorable Mention, or 4th Place. This year, we decided to give her costume a theme and make a tribute to the late Steve Irwin, Crocodile Hunter. I present to you, Fifi as the Crocodile Hunter’s Crocodile!
Fifi was awarded 3rd place and a $5 gift certificate. We would have also gotten a goodie bag, but they only had ones for cats and dogs.
We were trumphed by a very spastic cat dressed as a skeleton who won 2nd place and a really cute, big dog dressed as WonderWoman, complete with her golden lariot who walked away with first place. Devon thinks that we were robbed and has been trash-talking the cat’s costume since we left, saying that it was poorly constructed and didn’t even have a good story behind it. I’m only letting it go because the cat’s owner was 8 and looked like he had handsewn the costume.

Although the 8 year old probably felt pretty damned awesome to have won against Fifi’s amazingness.
I’m driving Fifi over to his house late tonight. So he better enough the awesome feeling, while he can still feel anything…..
