Kinda like re-charging batteries or something. Normally her spikes are just kind of slicked back over to one side, but when she sits outside in direct sunlight her spine swells up and her spikes stand straight up. Soon after she usually gets fidgity and walks over to some tree shade or right back to our front door to go back inside. I've been concerned about the critter. She looks fabulous! I love how spikey her spikes are. Healthy spikes seem like a sign of a healthy happy iggie. I remember when you got her, they sort of flopped over a bit. Then after you had had her for a while, they looked like a teenage boy with way too much hair gel had styled her. :) She's lovely.
