Fifi romps on a sunny spring day.

Fifi, our 3 legged iguana on a warm spring day.

Today was super sunny and after spending a lot of this past winter cooped up inside, I figured it was time to let Fifi, our iguana outside to romp around for a while. Here she is sunning herself on a branch/tree that she knocked down. Its really cute to see her soak up the sun’s rays. Although it was kind of chilly out, the sun was still shining and made Fifi warm to the touch.

Also, for whatever reason, whenever she is sunning herself outside, the spikes on the back of her neck, which are normally smoothed down for “stealth mode”, plump up and stand up straight. Its pretty cute to see. I wish we lived somewhere warmer where she could get real sun every day, instead of having to make do with special light bulbs with UVB rays. She’s really cute when she’s outside.
