So Halo 3 was released last night. I won’t have a husband for a week or so. This is what he has looked like since I hunted, foraged and gathered the game for him earlier this afternoon:

Curled up underneath a blanket, on the couch, in his lounging clothes, playing Halo 3, with a HUGE smile on his face. It’s really quite cute actually. He’s like a little kid on Christmas morning.

BTW, I just want to say how bizarre it was to be at the video game store at the mall today (a Tuesday), in the middle of the day. A rotating group of 20 or so men filed in and out of the store while I was there… Most of them were in their 30s or 40s. They all had big grins like Devon. Halo junkies/addicts. Grown men ditching work to get their hands on their video game fix. It was really strange.

Anyways. Have fun Devon! I’ll see you when you defeat the Covenant, or as soon as you start to look dehydrated/malnourished and I bring you sustenance.

I’m running on almost no sleep, and the little sleep that I did manage to catch was full of nightmares. Now i have to go spend the day snuggling the racca-mundis.

This is going to really suck.

I feel like a complete and total blob today. Generally I’m pretty happy with my curvy body, but recently it’s been going through some re-adjusting and I’m more squishy than normal. I just really hate not being able to fit into clothes that I’ve had forever. grah.

There’s no reason for you to be bulking up like we’re about to go through a period of famine. Figure it out and settle down.

I’m in Vancouver… Until Wednesday.

I kinda love this place. Lots of culture. Beautiful people. Good company. A beautiful and clean city.

I kinda hate this place. The people are way too beautiful. (Clothing stores should have a size range beyond XX-Small and Medium. I’m not even kidding. Ever see that Chris Farley SNL skit with him saying “fat man in a little coat? Yeah, that’s how i look when i try on anything here.) Also the city appears way fashionable than Seattle. (It makes Sea-town look like a bunch of ungroomed-sweatpants wearing-uncultured bums.) In addition, people look at me like I’m crazy/a loser when I ask them where my other boyfriend (the dreadlocked hottie, Jason Momoa from Stargate Atlantis) is filming/living/hanging out/sleeping. Whatever. Like I’M the loser!
Please. Just remember which of us is living in Canadia.

So yeah. I’ll be back in a couple of days.

Alrighty. So I was futzing around with iMovie to try to figure out how to make videos out of photographs and this is my first attempt.

The story I depict is of the lemur and the background music is Rehab by Amy Winehouse. The video not only STARS the Lemur, but also many of the visitors of my blog.

Stupid Americans (part 1)

Wow. Wow. Wow. That’s all I can say. You can also see parts 2-4 if you click on the links at the end of the video.

Justin Timberlake had a free concert at 9am yesterday at Gas Works Park. SOMEHOW I never found out about it until I was enroute for my 8am shift to hang out with the baby raccamundis at P.A.W.S. My question is: Why did noone tell me that my boyfriend was in town? I would have totally called in sick…

I did find it interesting that my P.A.W.S. shift, which normally has 7-10 people, only had 3 yesterday… including me. Everyone else had called in sick or unable to make it at the last minute. Yeah.. sick… I’m sure… (sarcasm abounds)

I know they were all just playing hooky to watch my (other) man perform!
