Photos of Boston

Tuesday, May 15th, 2007

I’m back from San Francisco. D & I had a great time. I’ll be sure to follow up with a post about it….

But for now, i realised that I never posted a link to the photos that I took the last time I was in Boston (like 2 weeks ago?)… With all of my 6 ladies in the same place for the first time in a year and a half…

So I give you these!

All the ladies.

Tomorrow D and I leave for SF for a week. I’ll be taking him to Asia SF of course. I’m also looking forward to hanging out with a bunch of long-lost pals. And shopping… Oh the shopping! :)

Devon totally married a girl from the wrong state.

Something funny that I was forwarded:

Three men were sitting together, bragging about how they had given their new wives duties.

The first man had married a woman from Colorado and had told her that she was going to do dishes and house cleaning. It took a couple days, but on the third day he came home to a clean house and dishes washed and put away.

The second man had married a woman from Nebraska He had given his wife orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes, and the cooking. The first day he didn’t see any results, but the next day he saw it was better. By the third day, he saw his house was clean, the dishes were done and there was a huge dinner on the table.

The third man had married a woman from Massachusetts. He told her that her duties were to keep the house cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry washed and hot meals on the table for every meal. He said the first day he didn’t see anything, the second day he didn’t see anything, but by the third day some of the swelling had gone down and he could see a little out of his left eye, enough to fix himself a bite to eat and load the dishwasher.

Lame-o Jury duty.

Friday, May 4th, 2007

So I returned from my east coast trip this week to find a jury duty summons in my mail pile. Stupid… When I worked at the college bookstore I loved it, because jury duty paid better than my job did.  I think that this is the 2nd or 3rd time that I’ve been served. Devon is 2 years older than me and has never had to go. Weird.

I really don’t mind that much as it’s my only duty as an American. I’m just peeved that I have to be downtown at 8am. Bleh.

Birthday Lizard!

Happy adoptive birthday, little Miss Fifi! Devon and I rescued you from the Tacoma Humane Society 3 years ago, today. You don’t know it yet, but we’re going to have waffles  with strawberries and bananas for your birthday feast tonight. :)
